(AsiaGameHub) – Ng Man Sun, a veteran of the Asian gaming industry, has returned to a leadership position at Century Entertainment International, which is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
In a filing made on Wednesday, the company revealed that he has been appointed as an executive director, chairman of the board, and chairman of the nomination committee, with immediate effect. Tang Ho Ka, whom Ng succeeds, will take on the roles of executive director and chief executive.
Ng previously held these roles from September 2014 until May 2025. He resigned the previous year, stating “personal commitments” as the cause, though he offered no further explanation.
Century referred to the 78-year-old as “a highly respected veteran of Macau’s gaming sector with over four decades of experience in VIP gaming, junket operations and casino investment management”. The company added that he was pivotal in the “evolution of Macau’s junket intermediary ecosystem during the industry’s liberalisation phase”. With a history linked to Stanley Ho, the godfather of Macau gaming, he holds “longstanding working relationships with key stakeholders in advancing high-roller gaming services and cross-border facilitation arrangements”.
Century Entertainment “is principally engaged in investments in gaming and entertainment”, as stated on its website. The company currently manages VIP rooms in Dara Sakor, Cambodia, and intends to extend its operations to the Philippines and Vietnam.
Century halted its trading last June after auditors issued a disclaimer of opinion on its financial statements.
